MAT 151.71 (SP14) - Calculus I with Steve Tuckey at Jackson College
This wiki is a place where I can collaborate with students, create and post course materials, and provide space for students to explore the subject.
On the left-hand side of the browser window is the navigation pane, and in that pane are links to the main pages. Each of those pages, in turn, will contain and link to materials and instructor notes related to the named topic (e.g., Chapter 4).
Getting Started:
In order to do more than just "see" the pages herein, you'll need to become a "member" of the wiki. Send Steve an email to request membership -- be sure to verify who you are and what class you're in.
In order to edit pages, you'll need to log into your membership account by clicking on the "Sign In" link in the upper right of the page.
You can change your account settings by clicking on the "My Account" link in the upper right of the page.
Take a look at the generic course syllabus page to get acquainted with the course scope and format.
Some pages (like this one) are "locked" (you can view, but not edit them), while others are open for you to edit and add your contributions (like the Resources page). You'll be able to tell which pages are editable by the presence of an "edit" button on them.
You can construct new pages by clicking the "edit" button at the top and then creating links. The new pages appear automatically when, after you save the page, you click on the links you made -- then you can begin editing your new page.
Not all pages will appear in the navigation bar -- but you can think of those that do as the "top level" of the wiki's organization.
